My First Tag Swap!

I have been watching You Tube videos for quite some time and LOVE looking at all the videos on tag swaps. I finally got up the courage to join one. This is the tag that I made for a tag swap hosted by Marie from The Pretty Paper Boutique (theprettypaperboutique.blogspot.com). The theme was "Vintage Lady" with the option of adding lace. I chose to make mine of Lena Horne who passed away not too long ago. She was an amazing actress and singer. I used the paper pack "Paris Nights" from Hobby Lobby, the Tim Holtz film strip, some lace/trim from Joann's, fibers from Creative Fiber Arts, the music clip is from Staples, I made the charm and the flower myself. It was so much fun that I did a Beach tag swap hosted by Joyce (1fotojoy on you tube). I've also signed on to do another tag swap with Marie and a mini album page swap hosted by Bona (lovelovescrap on you tube).

Enjoy!

Happy Secretary's Day!

Hi! I made these two cards for two dear friends for Secretary's Day. I used the Poppyseed collection by K & Co. and used Copics to color the images that I downloaded from All That Scraps. My inspiration came from a sketch by AmyR on her blog Prairie Paper & Ink.

Rainy Day Birthday Card

I recently made this card for a little friend of mine. On the day of her garden birthday party the weather for foggy, nasty, and COLD! I immediately went back to the drawing board and made this card for her. The inside read: "I hope the rain didn't ruin your day!" Thanks for stopping by! BTW, I got my inspiration from AmyR at Prairie Paper & Ink

First Attempt!

Ok, here's my first attempt at posting on my blog. This is a mini album that I made for a friend that was having her third baby. I mainly used Making Memories paper (can't remember the collection) and the Nursery collection by DCWV. EnJoY!
